Information You Provide

Information collected from an application submitted online will be treated in the same manner as the information collected from an application submitted on a hard copy to The Friends of the Tubac Presidio and Museum.

The information you disclose to us will generally become a matter of public record pursuant to A. R. S. §§ 39-121, et seq., which means that the agency may be required to divulge certain information in response to a public records request or in response to a warrant, subpoena, or other court order.

Arizona State Parks and Trails, The Friends of the Tubac Presidio and Museum, and The Tubac Historical State Park and Museum may require that you enter personal information (e.g., your name, home address, and credit card number) when requesting certain goods or services described on our website. Those services may also reference common infrastructure utilities that are provided by PayPal. These utilities provide the agency with a means to obtain specific information or to facilitate a specific functional requirement of the online transaction being requested.

As an example, PayPal maintains a central credit card payment interface that we all use as part of our online gift shop service, donations, event ticket purchases, etc. This utility will accept only the pertinent credit card authorization data necessary to validate and fulfill the purchase. The cardholder's name, credit card number, and expiration date are obtained by the utility and used only to complete the credit card payment portion of the online transaction. The data is used only for the fulfillment of the payment and is not retained by any of us.

Not all online applications use the services of PayPal, nor are they required to. Please be assured that your personal information will be held in strictest confidence while Arizona State Parks, The Tubac Presidio State Park and Museum, and The Friends of the Presidio and Museum processes your online transaction and will not be shared, sold, or otherwise disseminated to any outside person or entity, except as required or authorized by law.

Please refer to respective benefits and/or services web pages of our agency for disclosure of when, how, and to whom specific information will be released to third parties, as specified by A.R.S. § 41-4152 (5) and (6). If you have further questions regarding how any of us will use the information you submit online, please contact The Friends of the Tubac Presidio and Museum.

Third Party Disclosure

Third party organizations contracted with the State of Arizona or The Friends of the Presidio and Museum may provide certain services available on the state’s behalf. Personal information collected through the web portal and/or over-the-counter may be provided to third party service providers to help the state deliver benefits and services. We and the state will take prudent steps to ensure that third-party organizations are obligated to secure and protect personal information on the State’s behalf.

Information Collected from Children

By statute, all state agencies must comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Policy Protection Act of 1998 (“COPPA”), requiring parental consent before collecting any personal information from any individual under the age of 13. The text of COPPA is available at http://www.ftc.gov/ogc/coppa1.htm.

Security

The Friends of the Tubac Presidio and Museum and its consultants, as developer and manager of this website, have taken several steps to safeguard the integrity of its computer systems and networks. These steps include, but are not limited to individual authentication, the security of transmitted data, security monitoring, auditing, and encryption of your information. Security methods and measures have been integrated into the design, implementation and day-to-day practices of the entire website.

Non-Arizona State Parks Web Sites

We may collect or receive personal information directly from you, or from other sources via social networking sites. If you log on to the service with your login credentials from a social networking site (e.g., Google, Instagram, etc.), we may receive personal information about you from such social networking site (which may include your name, email address, profile picture URL, and encrypted access credentials), in accordance with the terms and conditions (e.g., terms of use and privacy policy) of the social networking site. We may encrypt and store this information so that it can be used for the purposes explained in this statement, and verified communication between our site and the social networking site.

Any information retrieved from a social networking site will be treated in accordance with this privacy policy. If you log on to our service using a social networking site, the associated social networking site will know that you have logged onto our site, and will display the Arizona State Parks App as one of your applications with authorized access. We work with the social networking site’s application protocol interface (developer API) in a way that allows you to authorize us access to your account on that social networking site on your behalf. In order to provide this authorization, you do not provide us your user name or password to the social networking site, instead it is given directly to the social networking site API via our site. Once authorized by you, the social networking site provides an encrypted token, which we verify via the social networking site API. This allows the social networking site to recognize us when we ask, on your behalf, for access to your basic account information needed for our services.

We do not act on your behalf to perform any actions via the social networking site with the authorized access provided (e.g., create posts, etc), nor do we share any of your account information that our services have access to.

You may revoke our access to any social networking site at any time by removing the app in the appropriate settings from within your account settings on the applicable social networking site.
