Historic Buildings & Museum
Our world-class exhibits are curated with history in mind. Our collections contain historic and cultural artifacts that interpret the 2000-year story of the American Southwest. Each of the five buildings and the multiple exhibits in them will engage your curiosity.
1885 Schoolhouse
With original floors and walls, you can sit at the desks and imagine yourself learning math in a one-room school.

Otero Hall
Built on the foundations of an 18th Century building, this public hall houses art and artifacts.
Griffin Museum
Interpreting 2,000 years of local history, the Griffin Museum's exhibits include an original 1854 Washington Press.
Rojas House
Step back in time at the home of the Rojas family, who lived in Tubac for over 100 years.
Presidio Ruins
This stairway to the underground exhibit demonstrates the real layers of Tubac history.
Gardens
Our 8 gorgeous gardens are maintained by our team of dedicated volunteers. More than just beautiful, they also tell the story of the changing landscape in the Santa Cruz River Valley throughout history.
Our gardens include two peaceful picnic areas. Bring your food and beverages and enjoy a meal beneath our shady mesquite trees.
