About the Event

This is the story of Arizona’s rich history of modern politicians, those who have lived during our lifetime, who have left their mark on this place where we live, and in many cases on the national landscape. You will be impressed by the quality (with one exception) of politicians this small western state has produced, including the father of the G.I. Bill of Rights (yes, he was from Arizona), one who served a record length of 57 years in Congress, two who told Nixon he had to resign, the greatest Secretary of the Interior, and many more. Hear these fascinating stories as only Jack can tell them.
Snacks will be served. $15 per lecture. Children 6 and under are free. A portion of the proceeds supports our education and preservation programs. B.Y.O.C. – (bring your own chair or sit at one of our picnic tables) this lecture will take place outdoors in our large picnic area.
