About the Event
One of the major consequences of Columbus’ coming to the New World is the biological homogenization of the planet. Historical biologists believe that this event, biologically speaking, was the most important event affecting humanity since the die-off of the large mammals at the end of the Last Ice Age. Come and hear why historical biologists feel so strongly about this. You will also learn about what foods we identify with the Old World are really products of the New World. You will be amazed!
Snacks will be served. $15 per lecture. Inside the 1885 Old Schoolhouse. A portion of the proceeds supports our education and preservation programs. Please email, or call, for reservations <info@tubacpresidio.org> 520-398-2252.
