About the Event

In celebration of Women's History Month, Chiricahua National Monument park ranger, Suzanne Moody, will share the program, "Her-Story, the Women of Bonita Canyon." From the Chiricahua Apaches to pioneers and National Park Service rangers today, what challenges did these women face with life in Bonita Canyon and what did they all have in common? Discover the answers to these questions and more during this presentation.

Suzanne Moody is a National Park Service ranger at Chiricahua National Monument. Introducing visitors to the great variety of park resources: geology, diversity of plants and animals, and a long human cultural history including Chiricahua Apaches, Buffalo Soldiers, pioneers, and Civilian Conservation Corps accomplishments is her passion. Living and working in this amazing Wonderland of Rocks continues to be the highlight of her career.

$15 per person includes all-day park admission. RSVP online (preferred).  Or, please email, or call, for reservations <info@tubacpresidio.org> 520-398-2252.
